A lover of the little things, on a quest to make art out of every adventure

When I was in high school and had to meet with a career counselor, they told me I was the furthest from a math and science brain that you could be. I was on the “artsy” creative side and would need to foster that side of myself in order to be happy.

I grew up always using point and shoot cameras, journaling my every thought and laying under the tree in my backyard. I'm a cancer with big feelings so capturing moments in time makes me all sappy and happy. Photos are one of the most precious and timeless things we could possibly have.

I’m an absolute music addict, a lover of all things pistachio flavored and watch the same 23 movies on repeat. Farmstands and supporting small businesses are a constant in my life and I’m always dreaming up a new dream or finding a new hobby. I'm married to the love of my life and care for a dog named Bella + a cat named Stella.

Love for Mama Earth

I’ve always had a soft spot for this rad planet we live on. My first ever screen name for AOL instant messenger was ‘animallover564’ and my Dad used to call me Pocahontas when I was a kid because I was always running around outside with no shoes on trying to save animals. In January 2020, the Australian bushfires made me ball like a baby for weeks on end. It sent me into a rabbit hole of research on how I could do better for our planet. I was already obsessed with photographing it and spending time outside so I might as well take care of it and do my part, right? I proceeded to ditch all plastic, became besties with my reusable bags and discovered every local farm stand or market in my area. I know change is scary y’all and we’re all accustomed to what society has taught us. However, If you’re a travel nut like me, think about it like this: If you want to be able to continue traveling & seeing this beautiful planet we live on, we neeeeed to step up and take care of that planet. Every little bit helps right?
